Hi, I'm Mel.

I'm a coastal fine artist inspired by the ever-changing moods of the ocean and the beauty of the Australian coastline. Based on the East Coast of Australia, I paint local seascapes that reflect both serenity and wildness - capturing not just what I see, but what I feel.

My work is deeply influenced by my travels, my love for the beach, and the freedom I find in nature. Whether I'm painting from my home studio or from the road in our caravan, I create with heart. Sharing my stories and helping to create those special places and memories for you on canvas. 

Art, for me is storytelling and memories in texture and light. I create seascapes that transport you - calming, energizing and grounding all at once. My palette mirrors nature's tones: sandy neutrals, ocean blues, stormy greys and golden sunbursts.
